FDA warns five online peptide sellers over unapproved GLP-1 drugs

On 31 March 2026 the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research issued warning letters to five websites selling injectable peptides to US buyers: Lovega LLC dba Pink Pony Peptides, Gram Peptides, Prime Sciences, Mile High Compounds and PekCura Labs. Each cites unapproved new drugs sold over the internet under sections 301(d) and 505(a) of the FD&C Act. Products carried coded names such as “GLP-2 TZ” and “GLP-3 RT”, which the quoted site copy identifies as tirzepatide and retatrutide; one firm listed cagrilintide and mazdutide outright. All five letters dismiss the sites’ research-use-only labelling, and each counts the bacteriostatic water sold alongside among the unapproved drug products.
