On 17 June 2026 the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research issued a warning letter to Wholesale Peptide of Brooksville, Florida, after reviewing the firm’s website in May 2026. The letter names two products, “Prostamax” and “Gonadorelin”, as unapproved new drugs under section 505(a) of the FD&C Act, quoting site copy stating that Prostamax “reduces chronic inflammation in the prostate” and describing gonadorelin research into testosterone production and hormone-dependent cancers. A footnote dismisses the firm’s “RESEARCH USE ONLY” and “not for human consumption” labelling — the same reasoning running through this year’s peptide enforcement. FDA gave the firm 15 business days to respond.
